Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AyaHQ ("AyaHQ", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and when you provide information to access our reports, case studies, and other resources. AyaHQ is incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States, and operates globally. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently, in line with applicable data protection laws, including United States federal and state privacy laws and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Information we collect

When you request access to a report or resource, we collect the details you submit, which may include:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your role or persona (e.g. builder, founder, partner, investor, student)
  • Your country
  • Your organization (optional)

We also collect limited technical information automatically (such as which report was requested and the page you submitted from) and standard server logs.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide the report or resource you requested
  • To send you occasional updates about AyaHQ programs, reports, and opportunities (only with your consent)
  • To understand which content is useful and improve our programs and website
  • To respond to your enquiries and maintain our records

3. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a request and tick the consent box. Where relevant, we also rely on our legitimate interest in promoting our programs and understanding our audience. You may withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting, analytics, and email delivery tools), under agreements that require them to protect your data. We may also disclose data where required by law.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we run no analytics on this site today. The storage we do use falls into these categories:

  • Strictly necessary — a single entry in your browser's local storage that records your cookie choice so we do not ask again. This is set only once you have made a choice, and requires no consent.
  • Chat widget (optional) — our support chat is provided by SwiftAgents and uses cookies, local storage, and session storage to keep your conversation available. It does not load at all unless you allow it.
  • Analytics (optional) — we currently run none. If we add analytics, it will load only for visitors who have allowed this category.

Optional storage stays off until you allow it, and you can change your mind at any time. Declining does not set a tracking cookie or degrade the rest of the site — the optional scripts simply never load. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though strictly necessary storage may be needed for parts of the site to work.

6. Data retention

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent and unsubscribe from our communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@ayahq.com. Every email we send also includes an unsubscribe link.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
